Flickr – Out of Beta… into Gamma?
May 16th, 2006 by Jerry
Wow, I’ve never heard of a “gamma” status for software. So far I haven’t noticed anything but cosmetic differences from Flickr Beta. Just a reorganization – a new top nav thingy. Hopefully some of that Yahoo R&D funding will turn out some more improvements.
Update: Dave is right. The Organizr is much much much better. No flash, just AJAX-goodness. That alone is an improvement since Linux flash support is flaky at best. Way to go Flickr’rs!
